We built this up to be a super delivery vehicle for Mike’s fantastic fresh baked bread deliveries. Aside from having a demanding full-time job Baker Mike is dedicated to supporting our social mission. Fortunately for us (and you) he makes some of the best tasting homemade bread we’ve ever tried (watch out Tartine!). Thanks Mike!

Pedal Revolution Used Bikes Update 8-15-11

Recent used bikes:

Gorgeous cherry red Bianchi Reparto Corsa (made in Italy) lugged steel mountain bike frame built into a fantastic all-rounder. This was about as high-end as it got in an Italian built steel mountain bike from the 90′s. We rebuilt the wheels around the NOS Shimano XT hubset to Mavic 517 rims with stainless butted spokes. The wheelset alone is worth $400. It got matched with a NOS original Bontrager rigid fork and a host of other nice bits. Original XT shifters/brakes, Nitto Stem and bars, and a Brown Suede Selle Turbo saddle. 19″- $795. SOLD!

Another Ken Ho wonderbike below:

Ken is one of our mechanics and he has a knack for rebuilding used bikes into what he called “ramblers”….another way of saying a great do-everything road/tour/cross/commute bike. His latest is a rebuild of a Miyata Alumni-Cross frame. This would make an exceptional road commuter or lightweight touring bike. 58cm Seat tube with a 56cm Top tube – $595. SOLD!

It has been a challenge keeping up with demand for used bikes. The shop has been busy which is good, but it makes it difficult to keep a significant stock of used bikes on the floor.  Check back here for a few more nice ones coming up in the next couple weeks.
