Pedal Revolution built up this classic Raleigh Grand Prix frame set with new parts transforming it from a 10 speed of yester-year to a perfect contemporary city bike.
New bottom bracket and headset started it off, followed by our favorite chrome Sun M13/sealed bearing wheel set. We ditched the old down tube shifters for a easier to reach Suntour ratcheting stem shifter set to handle gear changing duties.
Next a comfortable upright handlebar matched to Shimano brake levers with real cork grips.
For reliable stopping power in a long reach caliper we went with the Dia Compe top pull brake set. Panaracer Pasela tires, some white housing, and a riveted saddle for a little flair and its good to go.
