Mission Fire.

This post has nothing to do with bikes but it does have to do with our local community.

There was a 4 alarm fire at Mission and 22nd streets last night in a building that provided housing for 40 people who are now displaced, as well as the offices of Mission Local, and other businesses. Many of the residents had lived in the building for decades. One man has died and 6 are being treated for injuries. We saw the SFFD rescue numerous people from the fire escapes and from inside the building, bravely entering the burning building again and again to look for residents. Thank you to the San Francisco Fire Department for the difficult work that your do. Our hearts go out to the people of our community affected by this fire.
