This beauty came through the shop recently. A customer of Pedal Revolution brought in this lovely custom fillet brazed road frame from the long-time Alameda framebuilder Bernie Mikkelsen. He had a long list of parts he wanted to have us build it up with, including a White Industries/Mavic wheelset, Paul Components touring Cantilevers, Chris King headset, and a bunch of other goodies. The end result was a gorgeous “all-arounder” of a road bike. So far, its debut has been at a couple of the local cross races on the weekends and some heavy commuting miles. Our customer puts his bikes through the paces and this one will be no exception… definitely not designed to sit in a garage and look pretty, this bike was made to eat up miles for many years to come.
